I have just recently bought an airfryer, this is one of my first meals using my new kitchen appliance.
This dish tasted soo good. So easy to make and the chicken was so tender and so crispy.
An air fryer is easy and fast to cook in and you do not need to use a lot of grease in order to get the crispy surface. This recipe includes marinating the chicken, this marinating you can start the day before or add it just before cooking.
PREP TIME+COOK TIME
20+20minutes
Recipe
Chicken 300g. I used Bjärsås, eco and free walking chickens)
Parsnip 8-10 pcs
Salt
I use brand himalayan salt
Olive oil or coconut oil (I use garants coconut oil)
Marinade
Apple cider vinegar
1-2 cloves of garlic
juice from 1/2 lemon
3cm ginger
3 table spoons of date syrup
1 table spoon of oregano
1 table spoons of olive oil
How to do:
Peel and chop the garlic.
Peel and chop the ginger.
Add oil, vinegar, oregano and dates syrup and the juice from 1/2 lemon, add salt and oregano. Mix to a thick marinade.
Add the marinade to the chicken liver. Make sure that the marinade covers all the chicken
Leave it in the fridge over night or put it in the air fryer directly.
180 degrees Celsius and 20 minutes, after half the time, turn the chicken around in order to get an even surface.
Remove the chicken from the air fryer, chop parsnip into small fries and add 1 table spoon of coconut oil. Turn on the air fryer, 200 degrees Celsius and 20 minutes.
I hope you like it!
Notes, brands etc
I show the brands that I use because I think that this information can be so informative. Not all spices or coconut milks etc out there are compliant according to the AIP. And it is so much easier to go to the grocerystore knowing which products that are compliant.
I try to eat as much ecological products as possible so when you go grocery shopping, look for ecofriendly.
